Herbert injured his hand in the Chargers win over the Las Vegas Raiders and still expects to start in their next game against the Philadelphia Eagles on December 8. Herbert said that the hardest part of continuing to play was holding onto the football with a hard cast and glove applied to his left hand. The Chargers are in a tight playoff race with a tough schedule ahead.
