Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery

Why It Matters

George underwent arthroscopic surgery to treat a knee injury that he suffered during a workout. George will be reevaluated before the start of training camp. George was limited to 41 games last season with various injuries marking the fifth of the last six seasons that George has played fewer than 60 games. The nine time all star is entering the second year of a four year contract with the 76ers.
