The Edmonton Oilers have signed centre Connor McDavid to a two year contract extension

McDavid signed a two year contract extension that takes effect in the 2026-27 season. McDavid was entering the final year of his original contract after having just lead the Oilers to a Stanley Cup Finals appearance for the second season in a row. McDavid has 1,082 career points in 712 career games since being drafted first overall by the Oilers in 2015.
