The Kansas City Chiefs have won the Super Bowl

The Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl over the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs are the first team since the New England Patriots in the 2003 and 2004 seasons to win consecutive Super Bowls. Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes lead a 75 yard touchdown drive in overtime to win it for the Chiefs. Wide Receiver Mecole Hardman caught a three yard pass from Mahomes to win it. Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP. The 49ers had a 10-3 lead at halftime but the Chiefs stormed back to force overtime and win the Super Bowl in overtime 25-22.
