The NFL has approved the sale of the Seattle Seahawks to the Khosla Group

Why It Matters

The NFL owners voted unanimously to approve the sale of the Seattle Seahawks from the estate of Paul Allen to Vinod Khosla. The sale needed approval from 24 of the 32 NFL owners to be ratified. Khosla will now give up his stake in the San Francisco 49ers to buy the Seahawks. The estate of Paul Allen had put the Seahawks up for sale according to his will in February shortly after winning the Super Bowl.
