The NHL has named it three stars of the week
Why It Matters
The first star is Utah Hockey Club winger Dylan Guenther. Guenther had five goals in three games all of which the Utah Hockey Club won. This included scoring the Utah Hockey Club’s first goal as the Utah Hockey Club against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 8. The second star is Winnipeg Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck. Hellebuyck stopped 81 of the 83 shots that he faced winning all three of his games with a .976 save percentage. Hellebuyck who won the Vezina Trophy last season as the NHL’s top goalie won the Jets their season opener with a 30 save shutout against the Edmonton Oilers on October 9. The third star is Vegas Golden Knights centre Jack Eichel. Eichel had seven points in three games all of which the Golden Knights won.
