The Ottawa Senators have signed goalie James Reimer to a one year contract

Why It Matters

Reimer will be under contract to the Senators for the rest of this season. Reimer split last season between the Buffalo Sabres and Anaheim Ducks. Reimer went 10-8-2 with a .901 save percentage in Buffalo and lost both his starts in Anaheim in regulation with a .864 save percentage. The Senators signed Reimer after losing regular starting goalie Linus Ullmark to a leave of absence.
