Sanderson skating in a non contact jersey in practice as a step to returning from a shoulder injury. Sanderson however will not be available on the ice during the game tonight in Florida as the Senators start the final stretch toward the playoffs with nine games remaining. The Senators are in a tight battle with the Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings to leapfrog the Columbus Blue Jackets for the final wild card playoff spot in the Eastern conference. Sanderson has to be cleared for contact in practice before he can return to the ice during a game.
