Maye has missed practice with illness on top of nursing a shoulder injury. Maye had not missed practice all season before now but was present at the facility and involved in meetings. Backup quarterback Josh Dobbs has continued taking first team repetitions in practice in Maye’s absence. The Patriots get Saturday off before boarding the team charter from Boston to San Francisco on Sunday.
