The Arizona Cardinals will retire Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s number 11

Why It Matters

Shortly after Fitzgerald’s enshrinement in Canton the Cardinals announced that they will retire his number at halftime against the Denver Broncos on October 25. Fitzgerald played 17 years in the NFL all with the Arizona Cardinals. Fitzgerald was drafted by the Cardinals third overall out of Pitt in 2004 and is the franchise all time leader in catches, receiving yards, touchdowns and games played.
