The Houston Texans have signed Defensive End Will Anderson to a three year contract extension

Why It Matters

The Texans had exercise Anderson’s 2027 option year as a prelude to this contract extension. Anderson had 12 sacks and 20 tackles for a loss last season. Anderson was drafted third overall in 2023 immediately after the Texans drafted Quarterback CJ Stroud second overall as a result of a trade with the Arizona Cardinals. The Texans are 32-19 with three playoff wins and two AFC South titles in that time.
