Why It Matters

After starting quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a season ending achilles injury backup Quarterback Riley Leonard is now nursing a knee injury of his own. According to Head Coach Shane Steichen the Colts hope to have Leonard as the starting quarterback against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday however it is unclear at this point whether or not that will happen. The Colts have the potential to promote journeyman Quarterback Brett Rypien from the practice roster to the active roster.
