Oliveira will be staying in Winnipeg through the 2028 season. Oliveira was named the Blue Bombers candidate for both MVP and most valuable Canadian Player for the third consecutive season in 2025 after his fourth consecutive season of running for 1,000 yards. Oliveira ran for 1,163 yards and three touchdowns in 2025.
