Why It Matters

The Grizzlies are now entering a rebuild built around power forward Cameron Boozer who they drafted third overall out of Duke. Morant had missed a lot of games in past seasons because of injuries and off court problems. The Grizzlies attempted to trade Morant at the deadline last season but couldn't find any willing trade partners because he was injured.
