Tavares has not been on the ice in practice for personal reasons and will not play in their next game in Denver tomorrow night. It is unclear whether Tavares will rejoin the Leafs in Salt Lake City against the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday or when they return to Toronto agasint the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday. Tavares has three points in five games this season.
