Why It Matters

The knee injury that Dart left the Giants Monday Night loss to the Los Angeles Rams with is worse the originally expected. Dart will be out for an extended period of time and could potentially undergo season ending knee surgery. Head Coach John Harbaugh expressed confidence in backup quarterback Jameis Winston who stepped in on Monday Night and will be the starting quarterback going forward with the Giants game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
