The Edmonton Oilers will start Tristan Jarry in goal against the Vancouver Canucks

Why It Matters

Head Coach Mike Babcock has settled on Jarry as the starting goalie to open the season. The Oilers have a more spaced out schedule conducive to giving Jarry a bigger run of games than most teams although Devon Levi who playe very well in the preseason as well could get a few starts in the first two weeks here and there.
