Why It Matters

Pitts will now be under contract in Atlanta through the 2028 season. This comes shortly after a contract extension for wide receiver Drake London. Pitts had 88 catches for 928 yards and five touchdown catches in 2025. Pitts was drafted fourth overall by the Falcons in 2021. This is the work being undertaken by President of Football Operations Matt Ryan and General Manager Ian Cunningham to shore up the Falcons for the future.
